Richmond Ambulance Authority is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team of professionals.

Paramedic Starting Pay:  $15.00/hour with no experience
Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) Starting Pay:  $9.60/Hour with no experience
Vehicle Service Technician (VST) Starting Pay:  $8.00/hour with no experience

  • 12-Hour Shifts Available, Guaranteeing 40 Hours Regular and some overtime per week
  • Rotating Schedules available
  • New Employee Orientation held monthly
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance for all full time employees

 PARAMEDIC AND EMT-B REQUIREMENTS:

  • Commonwealth of Virginia Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • CPR
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700 (required within 90 days of employment)
  • Background Check
  • Physical Agility Test
  • Drug Screen

PARAMEDIC MUST ALSO POSSESS:

  • National Registry Paramedic
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • PHTLS
